I'm 15 and have been having sex since I was 13. I have a boyfriend, we've been together through ALOT. My drug addiction, his partying times, both of us saying SCREW SCHOOL. We are both sober, and doing great in school. I'm so happy we're almost like a normal couple, but, no one really knows this, I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant. I just found out a week ago. I havn't really told him, or anyone else. I don't want an abortion, and I don't know about adoption..We used protection..maybe it broke or leaked. I'm so scared, I can't do this!

Hey Rachers,
I really can see that you have been able to overcome a great deal of things in the past. And you have been able to do this with someone you care about and have been through many of these times with. I really get that you are feeling scared about becoming pregnant, and confused about how it happened and unsure of what to do next. You mentioned that you have not told anyone about becoming pregnant, I am wondering if there is anyone you imagine you may feel comfortable enough sharing this with?

I told my boyfriend, and I feel alright about telling him. He wants me to tell my parents SOON though, and I'm not ready for that D= I know I can't hide a pregnancy very long, and I want to do what's best for my baby, but I don't know how my parents, teachers, friends, boyfriends family, or church is going to react.

Hey Rachers,

Yeah, I can totally appreciate that it would be REALLY scary to tell your parents for fear of how they'd react...and everyone else in your life you mentioned as well. It sounds like this feels like a huge secret you're burdened with right now, and you know it will come out eventually, but that time is slipping away faster than you're ready for it. How would it be to talk to someone you maybe don't know, someone who could help you figure out some of your questions and concerns? If you're in the Victoria BC area, Island Sexual Health might be a helpful resource. Their website is islandsexualhealth.org and they have a few locations around the city for you to visit in person.
Take care Rachers!
