Queer Quills
*Queer Quills *A writing group for queer/trans & allies youth ages 14-25 that meet once a week Thursdays 5 pm-7 pm, at Solstice Cafe. Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, right after group the cafe holds ‘Tongues of Fire’, a spoken word night that youth are allowed to participate in or sit back and enjoy! Support and discussion group for Transgender, Gender- queer and Gender variant youth, 25 and under. Every Thursday 6:00pm-8:00pm @ Fairfield Gonzales Community Centre. The purpose of this group is to bring together transgender, genderqueer and gender variant , youth to share experiences, talk about the issues around gender identity, and learn more about support options. A drop-in social group for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Two-Spirited, Asexual and allies, for ages 25 and under. Every Tuesday, 6pm-8pm at Fairfield Gonzales Community Place http://goo.gl/maps/io2rB. Come drop by for some yummy snacks, important discussions, silly games and movie nights. Occasionally we have guest speakers and hold awesome workshops. This group is facilitated by two, queer, volunteers from the community
