Service Providers

Alliance Club (Drop-in Centre)
A downtown drop-in centre for youth who are 13-19 years of age. Open 3-10 pm from Monday to Thursdays. Dinner served at 5 pm. Laundry and shower facilities on site. Staff can provide supportive counselling, information, and referrals to other programs/service providers. Youth who have alternative places to eat are encouraged to do so. Victoria Youth Clinic also runs at this location on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria operates a full complement facility at the downtown location (851 Broughton Street). Driver Services Centre (Downtown)
Wharf Street Driver Services, open 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday. Stop by to renew your drivers license or take the knowledge test for your Learner's license. Also stocks driver safety manuals and information brochures. Driving tests are not conducted at this location.

The ICBC driver services branch in Saanich, and the main location in Greater Victoria for driving tests. Also stocks information resources; knowledge tests can be conducted at this location up to one hour before closing. Operates Monday - Tuesday, 8:30-4:30, Wednesday-Friday 7:30-7:30.

Alliance Club
Program Information: The Alliance Club is an evening drop-in centre for youth( ages13-19). The Club provides a safe, healthy alternative for youth who may be hanging out in the downtown core, as well as providing a connection point for street entrenched youth who may wish to explore a more positive lifestyle. Claymation Movie Production Camp

Drop IN Meal and Movie Night
Starting April 24th, AVI will be hosting a drop-in meal and movie on Wednesdays, from 7pm to 9pm. For young people between the ages of 15-25 We are located at the 3rd Floor at 713 Johnson St (above the Cool Aid clinic). Babies and pets are allowed, also. Youth worker will be around to offer any youth support, referrals, or information that they may need.

LifeCycles Fruit Tree Project
Thanks to hundreds of volunteers and a couple of ladders, the Fruit Tree Project harvests apples, cherries, pears, and other fruit from privately owned trees that would otherwise go to waste. We then share the harvest among homeowners, volunteers, food banks, and community organizations within Victoria. A unique aspect of this project is that a portion of the harvest is set aside to make value-added products that help defray our costs. Out of the Rain Night Youth Shelter
Pets welcome! Out of the Rain Night Youth Shelter is a shelter that provides a warm, dry and safe place for youth (age 15-25) to sleep during the coldest months of the year. Out of the Rain will run from November 1 until April 15. We open at 10pm and our sites change with the day of the week.
