AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI)
About: AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI) is a community-based AIDS Service Organization (ASO). We provide education, support, and advocacy for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and other communicable diseases. Alliance Club (Drop-in Centre)
A downtown drop-in centre for youth who are 13-19 years of age. Open 3-10 pm from Monday to Thursdays. Dinner served at 5 pm. Laundry and shower facilities on site. Staff can provide supportive counselling, information, and referrals to other programs/service providers. Youth who have alternative places to eat are encouraged to do so. Victoria Youth Clinic also runs at this location on Mondays and Wednesdays.

antidote: Multiracial and Indigenous Girls and Women's Network
Established in 2002, antidote is a grassroots network and community-based organization of over 150 multiracial girls and women in Victoria, British Columbia. Beacon Hill Children's Farm
The farm provides both an educational and economical form of entertainment for the whole family. Our goal is to help children develop a respect for animals that will remain with them for life. The hands-on experience with the goats in the petting area is the most popular feature of the farm.

Beacon Hill Park
The park is beautifully landscaped and manicured with bridges, lakes and ponds, and an alpine and rock garden. It is home to numerous species of ducks, birds and wildlife. A pair of Bald Eagles nests in one of the huge trees and regularly cause havoc for the large family of Great Blue Herons that also nest in a copse of Douglas-fir trees at the west end of the park. "Cool Cues" Social Skills Program
Cool Cues is a social skills building group for 8-10 year olds. The program will run for 6 sessions on Mondays after school from 3:30-4:45 PM at James Bay Community Project. Next session will begin in the summer. Call for more details.
