Oaklands Community Centre is located in the Oaklands Community attached to the Oaklands School. Although the school is old our facility has only been here since 2000. We run all sorts of programs for seniors, preschoolers, adults and of course youth. Check our website or phone us for more details. Assorted classes and courses are offered. Fairfield Community Place is proud to provide The Chill Zone, a staffed youth resource centre and free drop-in lounge! Staff are also available to hook youth up with other drop-in’s and free/low-cost activities in Greater Victoria such as subsidized summer camps and day-trips! Offered in partnership with Industry Canada and the City of Victoria, we have two computers and a printer available for community use at the Place during our office hours. Users are welcome to access the internet, check email and word processing with these terminals free of charge (with a minimal fee for printing). Call (250) 382-4604 for our specific hours of operation. Computer access is not available on statutory holidays. Youth are encouraged to come on in and get connected!
