Access UVic!
Program description and goals: Access UVic! Is a non-profit society at the University of Victoria. It is dedicated to the full and equal participation of students with disabilities in all aspects of university life. They advocate for increased awareness, inclusion and accessibility both on campus and in society. Program information: A number of resources, programs and services are provided, specifically in the areas of academic accommodation, accessibility, on-campus housing, curriculum content, education awareness, employment and discrimination. They have an office in the lower Student Union Building where anyone is welcome to use their library, attend their events, access their advocacy services, and participate in weekly sign language courses and discussion classes.

Bipolar Society of British Columbia


The Bipolar Disorder Society of BC is the umbrella organization for the bipolar babe project and is a non-profit incorporated in January 2010 receiving charitable status in August 2010. The Bipolar Disorder Society of BC has designed programs providing awareness about mental illness in hopes of eliminating stigma, discrimination and unwarranted fears of this condition.

Learning a second language can be challenging at any age. Oxford Learning is the only supplemental educator to develop a specialized curriculum of French for kids as well as young adults. Extensive research and testing went into the development of this proprietary course, based on the International Standard of French. This program is a perfect supplement to French Immersion students, as preparation for late immersion entries or to enrich students attending English school with French studies.... more...
