Claymation Movie Production Camp

Dance Camp

GVPL Teen Council
Have your voice heard! Teens looking for an interesting volunteer opportunity are invited to join the GVPL's Teen Council. Work on special library projects, meet other teens, have fun, boost your resume, and earn volunteer hours. For ages 13–18. Teen Council meets once month at the Saanich Centennial Branch, from September - June, and participants also work on special projects and represent the library at community events. Hip Hop Hope is an exciting project that brings together a diverse group of youth to create a hip hop CD that challenges and inspires. The CD will get voices of youth out to the community. We will work to get airtime on local radio stations and to find opportunities for youth to perform their work live in the community. Shows youth how to do productions - make own songs and record it then put on a CD. Runs yearly every fall (October/November). Program takes place in Vancouver.
