The Bay Street Armoury was constructed 1914-1915. It was the largest most up to date armoury in the country. It is now a a training and recruitment centre that has served since WW1. In addition to housing the 89 Pacific Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, it is also the regimental HQ and home of the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's).

Central Saanich Boys & Girls Club
Join us at the Central Saanich Boys & Girls Club for a variety of social and recreational after school and evening programs. The club is a safe place for youth to engage in supervised youth-directed activities with their peers. But Cadets do a lot more than just learn to fly planes. Cadets might choose to be part of the biathlon team (marksmanship & skiiing), band, or drill teams. The Extreme Lounge at Greenglade Community Centre is a free, supervised, safe and welcoming en¬vironment for pre-teens and teens to socialize (Grades 6-10). The Extreme Lounge is open every Friday and Saturday night from 6-8pm with features such as foosball, air hockey, pool table, Nintendo Wii, and cool tunes and flics!
