The Shop Recyclistas structure is inspired by the wheel. Each member is their own spokes-person, who taps into the facilities of a communal hub. Currently they recycle reconditioned bikes, provide community access to bicycle repair and maintenance workshops, tool and shop rental, and on-site expert assistance for those who wish to repair their own bikes. More than a thrift store, SVDP Victoria provides emergency food and shelter, as well as education and employment support for low-income individuals and families in Victoria. Under the patronage of Saint Vincent de Paul, it draws its inspiration from his thoughts and his works. Members strive, in a spirit of justice, charity, mutual help, and solidarity with the poor, and by personal commitment, to ease the hardships of those who suffer.

Did you know, that some air cadets get their glider pilot's license before they get their driver's license? That's right. Air Cadets can actually get their pilot's license. But Cadets do a lot more than just learn to fly planes. Cadets might choose to be part of the biathlon team (marksmanship & skiiing), band, or drill teams.
