Youthspace.ca is made up of a community of volunteers who are here to support you – whatever you are going through.
All volunteers are trained in emotional support, crisis response, and ASIST Suicide First Aid.
We won’t give you advice, or tell you what to do because we believe you know you best! We work to empower you to live your healthiest life. We will support you in the moment, encourage you to explore your thoughts, feelings, fears, options, ideas, and resources.
We are constantly learning and growing as an agency. Part of our commitment to community is that we provide a welcoming and inclusive space for all. Thank you to all our local supporters and partners for sharing knowledge so we can continue to learn. If you have suggestions on how we can improve our service, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Youthspace Chat is available to youth and young people under 30 years of age who live in Canada. You can chat privately with a youthspace support worker. They can provid emotional and crisis support — — no judgements — safe — confidential.
Friendly note: chatting through our website by mobile device can sometimes cause minor glitches or slower response times.
If you are chatting in from the US please visit CrisisChat.org. Thank you for your understanding.
For your safety we have access to your IP address. By texting us or clicking on the CHAT NOW button on this page you are agreeing to our “Terms of Service”.
If we’re seriously concerned for your safety, we’ll try to get help to you. If you feel unsafe or have already done something to hurt yourself, please call 9-1-1.
