Thank you for your response. Yesterday I talked to her and she (finally) promised me she wouldn’t commit suicide. She had support from her other friends and her mother, as well as a personal counselor. My mother tries to calm me down when I start to get upset about it, but that hasn’t happened in about 5 days, so hopefully this is the end of her suicidal thoughts.
