Program Information: The Alliance Club is an evening drop-in centre for youth( ages13-19). The Club provides a safe, healthy alternative for youth who may be hanging out in the downtown core, as well as providing a connection point for street entrenched youth who may wish to explore a more positive lifestyle. Services include an evening meal served nightly at 5pm, snacks served nightly at 8pm, fresh fruit is available daily, access to showers and laundry facilities, free hygiene products (... more...

Safeteen is a violence prevention and assertiveness training education program. This is a gender specific program that provides an interactive learning environment for youth to learn powerful alternatives to violence. Areas of discussion: body image, gender stereotypes, fear and power, facts about abuse and sexual harassment. Youth get the chance to learn and practice the skills in role plays. Super fun and dynamic 3 hour workshop.
