Threshold Housing Society
We provide transitional, semi-independent, housing for youth on Vancouver Island. We run a house for 4 girls (Holly House) and a house for 4 boys (Mitchell House). Residents agree to attend weekly house meetings, complete one chore per week, meet monthly with the house supervisor, and attend a regular day-program (school, work, &/or training). Urban Agriculture Program
LifeCycles Urban Agriculture program provides support and resources to local organizations and individuals who would like to create organic food gardens in their community, including backyards and community allotment gardens. Volunteers are trained in garden skills and building and support the creation of new gardens! The program also provides workshops on skills related to food and urban agriculture.
