I tried apologizing to my best friend, she wont reply back to my emails, she hasn’t phoned me, and apparently according to a teacher we are going to be doing a duet for a school performance I didn’t know about because she wont talk to me. ive given up. im just not gonna talk to her, or my teachers. they can suck it up and just watch me live my life not caring about their involvement. at least they cant make me unattractive* if I don’t talk to them!

Hi Nie,
It’s awful to lose someone who we care about from our life… It sounds like you’re really hurt by the way your friend has been ignoring you after you apologized to her. I imagine you were making yourself vulnerable by giving your apology, and it’s painful to have no answer to it. You say that you have given up, and I’m guessing that giving up feels necessary put distance between yourself and others so that they can’t hurt you like this. From the title of your post, it sounds like this isn’t the first person you have felt abandoned by, and that you’re pretty sick of it.
How’ve you been coping with the feelings around your best friend, Nie? Have things changed for you?
We’re here to listen if you want to talk more about it.

Nie,
Sounds like you’re at the point of frustration with these feelings where protecting yourself from the feelings and avoiding them all-together seems your most viable option.I’m wondering if there are times in your life, maybe when you are with certain people, or doing certain activities when you are safe from these negative feelings?
We value your voice here Nie. Thank you for continuing to check in and share with us.
